You're probably wondering, Why is Niya selling her entire album for free? That is just crazy.

Niya is first and foremost a saved and sanctified believer in Jesus Christ. She and her management team have come together to do something that has never been done before in Gospel music. That "something" is an evangelistic outreach for persons all over the world. Niya has decided to give her debut 12-song album away for free as a tool for evangelism (for the unsaved) and worship (for believers). The theme of "Someday" is to spread the love of Jesus Christ by using the tool of music and songwriting. Simply said, Niya is sharing her music with you the way God gave it to her - FREEly!

In present day, "Someday" has brought huge success to Niya at the grassroots level. Niya has already traveled around the world with "Someday", recently returning from a tour in Japan. She has ministered and had profitable album sales at several churches and conferences across North America including City of Refuge (Bishop Noel Jones), Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship (Dr. Tony Evans), St. Paul BC (Pastor Lance Watson), LifeWay Ministry Conferences, Alaska's Church Leadership Conference and the Hampton Minister's Conference. Giving away the album was the only natural progression to Niya's ministry-momentum.

If you like the music of Yolanda Adams (Niya's "auntie"), Maurette Brown-Clark and KiKi Sheard, then you'll love Niya.

"Someday" was conceived on the campus of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Niya called on her best friends, Roy Cotton, II (now her husband) and Andrae Ames to produce the album. This creative "tripod" graduated from Hampton University with degrees in music. Each of them have been educated and have professional experience in traditional Gospel, Christian Contemporary, jazz, classical and soul. Somehow "the tripod" figured out a fresh way to mesh these genres together while telling a story from beginning to end.

One of Niya's greatest testimonies is that she and Roy dated during the entire production of this album. They made a decision to abstain from sexual intercourse before marriage. This has allowed her ministry to be amazingly authentic and pure.

Niya invites you to worship, cry, stomp your feet and reflect on the awesomeness of God as you listen to Someday. This album deserves your attention and anyone else who simply loves fresh ideas and great Gospel music!!
